Fire/Emergency Medical Services Information

During Meetings held throughout 2019, the Village Council of the Village of Indiantown developed a strategic plan which included an evaluation of the feasibility of establishing a fire rescue department within the Village. This evaluation was handed off to Village staff who were directed to research the fiscal sustainability of the project.

In that same year, the Village Council unanimously agreed a consultant was necessary to assist with this evaluation as the village does not have a fire department. As a result, The village council retained the services of the Center for Public Safety Management (CPSM) to assist with evaluating fire rescue service options.

In 2021, during a Special Workshop meeting, the Village Council directed staff to begin work toward establishing a Village owned and operated Fire Rescue/Emergency Medical Service. In response to questions and comments from the public, this page has been created to house relevant information in a single location for ease of access. Many documents are provided below and members of the public are encouraged to review them at their leisure.
