Code Compliance

Code Compliance is the prevention, detection, and investigation of Village Code violations that affect public health, safety, welfare, business activities, building standards, land-use, or municipal affairs. Village Ordinances are in place to protect our health, safety, and quality of life.

The Code Compliance Division dedicates its resources to maintain the health, safety, and quality of life for our residents and business partners.

Hurricane Safety Tips:
• Remove all outdoor storage and debris from the yard.
• Properly trim all trees and bushes regularly and not wait until a Hurricane watch or warning is issued.
• Construction sites must remove any equipment, garbage debris and supplies from the site when a hurricane watch, or warning is issued.
• Do not place bulk items in the swale during Hurricane watch or warnings.
• Plan Ahead: decide where to move your boat, recreational vehicle, and trailers during a hurricane.
• Check the FEMA and storm preparation websites for hurricane preparation standards.
