Community Resources
- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: Indiantown Missionaries
- Several members of the churches missionaries program are based out of the Village of Indiantown and are available to assist residents when available. For more information on the help they can provide please call their direct number at 305-215-0543.
- Christ Fellowship Church
- Christ Fellowhip Church operates several faith centers throughout the Treasure Coast region. They can assist with home repairs and much more. For more information please contact the Village's Code Enforcement Officer, Robert Perez, at 772-341-1700. Mr. Perez will help residents contact a representative.
Governmental Assistance Options
- Martin County SHIP Program
- The State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) Program is a Martin County sponsored program to provide loans to very-low, low, and moderate income persons to assist them in obtaining a home or rehabilitating their existing home. Applications are accepted online through the Martin County Neighborly system or at their main office.
- Solar Energy Loan Fund Program
- The nonprofit SELF organization maintains an Empowerment Fund throughout the Treasure Coast region. The Fund offers accessible and affordable loan capital to finance home repairs and improvements, such as new roofs, air conditioners, septic conversions and solar panels. - US Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program
- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) offers grants, focused on low-income households, to increase energy efficiency in homes and ensure health and safety. The program supports 8,500 jobs and provides weatherization services to approximately 35,000 homes every year using DOE funds. - US Department of Agriculture Single Family Housing Program
- The US Department of Agriculture (DOA) Single Family housing Program assists elderly and low-income homeowners with health and safety hazards, necessary repairs, modernization, and energy efficiency. Low interest, fixed-rate, loans and grants are provided to qualified persons through the Rural Development program or private financial institutions guaranteed by USDA Rural Development. - The Florida Housing Finance Corporation is "one stop shop" organization providing a range of affordable housing opportunities for residents and homeowners across Florida. - Habitat for Humanity
- Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit housing organization focused on building and improving homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of affordable places to live. As an extension of this, Habitat for Humanity operations ReStores which serve as stores and donation centers selling new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances.
