Indiantown is a rural community in Florida’s Treasure Coast first established in the early 1900’s, then incorporated in 2017 as the newest local government in Florida. While its population of less than 7,000 is small, its resident engagement is exemplary and its potential for community building and new business opportunity is large. The Village is governed by a Mayor and Council elected at large, while day-to-day operations are directed by the Village Manager.

The Village of Indiantown is currently seeking sealed proposals from qualified firms as Independent Certified Public Accountants to audit the Village’s financial statements for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2021, through September 30, 2023. The sealed proposals will be received electronically, via DemandStar, until 4:00 p.m. Local Time, on Friday, January 21, 2022, at which time this RFP will be publicly declared closed.

Please submit proposals electronically to DemandStar by Onvia at www.demandstar.com. The documents must be signed by the proposer or the proposer’s duly authorized agent and shall be uploaded prior to the RFP Submittal Deadline.  It is suggested that bidders do not wait until the last day to submit their bids in the event of technical difficulties.  The Village cannot accept incomplete proposals.  Hard copy documents received will not be considered as the Village will only accept bids electronically submitted via DemandStar.  Do not FAX nor EMAIL a proposal as it WILL NOT be accepted.

Solicitation documents may be obtained by contacting DemandStar by Onvia at  www.demandstar.com or toll-free: 1-800-711-1712. Vendors who obtain solicitation documents from other sources than DemandStar.com are cautioned that the solicitation package may be incomplete. Furthermore, all addendums will be posted and disseminated via DemandStar.

Proposals will be publicly opened in the Village Hall Chambers, 15516 SW Osceola Street, Suite C, Indiantown, FL 34956, on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 4:00 p.m.  Evaluation and selection will occur in accordance with the appropriate requirements at a time and place to be set.

During the RFP process, all questions or requests for additional information concerning this RFP shall be directed solely to: Susan A. Owens, Village Clerk, in writing, via e-mail at: sowens [at] indiantownfl.gov Proposers are strictly prohibited from contacting any member of the Village Council, Staff or consultants regarding this project.  All questions must be received by the Question Submittal Deadline of Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. 

The Village of Indiantown reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any and all RFP submittals, and to accept any RFP submittals or any combination of RFP submittals, which in its sole judgment will best serve the public interest.
