Provision of Engineering Services for Water and/or Wastewater Improvements
The Village of Indiantown, Florida, will be accepting sealed proposals for: Professional Engineering Consultants or Firms to provide FDEP SRF and/or Rural Development Compliant Final Design, Permitting and Agency Coordination, Bidding, Construction Management and Project Close-out Services for Water and Wastewater Improvements. Sealed proposals will only be accepted at the Office of the Village Clerk, 16550 SW Warfield Blvd., Indiantown, FL 34956, until 4:00 PM., Eastern Standard Time, on May 20th, 2020, at which time and place all proposals received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Village Hall.
When delivering your proposal, please note that Village Office Hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Due to the Coronavirus situation, Village Hall is temporarily closed to the public. Your courier must call either call 772-285-7740 or 597-9900 to be allowed into the building to deliver your proposals. If Village Hall becomes open to the public between now and the submittal deadline, then your courier will not have to call.
The nature and scope of this contract is: The Village of Indiantown is soliciting proposals from Professional Engineering Consultants or Firms to provide SRF and/or Rural Development Compliant Final Design, Permitting and Agency Coordination, Bidding, Construction Management and Project Close-out Services.
Proposers shall submit ONE (1) ORIGINAL, SEARCHABLE PDF COPY ON A USB DRIVE AND FIVE (5) PHOTOCOPIES OF THE COMPLETED RFP PACKAGE in a sealed envelope. The original copy should include an original signature. The RFP Name, RFP Number, and time and date of the RFP closing shall be clearly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope. Email and facsimile responses shall not be accepted. Proposals received after the time and date specified will not be considered and will be returned to the proposer unopened. This selection shall be in accordance with the Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) Title 19, Section 287.055 Florida Statutes.
Detailed instructions regarding this Request for Proposals will be available for download on www.demandstar.com, or by calling 1-800-711-1712, beginning April 17, 2020. Vendors who obtain solicitation documents from sources other than DemandStar are cautioned that the solicitation package may be incomplete. Furthermore, any and all addendums will be posted and disseminated solely via DemandStar.
All questions shall be submitted in writing to Susan A. Owens, MPA, MMC, Village Clerk, via email at sowens [at] indiantownfl.gov (subject: RFP%202020-005) , before the question deadline specified herein. The Village of Indiantown reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any and all RFP submittals, and to accept any RFP submittals or any combination of RFP submittals, which in its sole judgment will best serve the public interest.
All RFP submittals shall be in sealed envelopes addressed to the Office of Village Clerk, Village of Indiantown, 16550 SW Warfield Boulevard, Indiantown, FL 34956, and plainly marked on the outside:
